YouHostin’ helps people create, discover, plan, and attend real-life events. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it to operate the platform.

1. Information we collect

We may collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, profile details, event details, guest invite emails, RSVP information, saved events, planning room activity, and messages or instructions you choose to add to an event.

2. How we use information

We use information to create accounts, show events, send invitations, process RSVPs, support paid events, deliver notifications, improve safety, prevent abuse, and help hosts manage their events.

3. Payments

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers such as Stripe. YouHostin’ does not store full card numbers. Payment providers may collect and process payment information according to their own terms and privacy policies.

4. Emails and invitations

Hosts may enter guest email addresses to send private event invitations, planning room invites, confirmations, reminders, and event updates. These emails are used to support the event experience and are not meant to be sold or misused.

5. Location

Location may be used when a feature requires it, such as nearby event discovery, maps, or future check-in tools. We do not need constant location access to operate YouHostin’. Location-based features should be used only when a user chooses to interact with them.

6. Service providers

We may share limited information with trusted service providers needed to operate YouHostin’, including hosting, authentication, email, payments, analytics, security, storage, and support tools.

7. Data deletion and contact

8. Changes
